Report abuse 54 people found this reply helpful. This is happening to a lot of people I play with and its not just one person. The newest dashboard update seems to have broken the Xbox Ones ability to deal with Game and Party invites.

How do I fix this. After reporting your problem fully restart the console hold down Xbox button select Restart console from the power menu. I noticed that when MS rolled out the new Game Bar and changed the name of the Xbox app to Xbox Console Companion they automatically changed the notification.
